Massage Therapy
Used alone or as a complement to other therapies, massage therapy can help in a variety of ways—treating painful muscles, improving circulation, increasing joint flexibility, and reducing mental and physical fatigue. It is also used to treat chronic pain, decrease anxiety, support immune function and help as sports injuries and other muscle stress or trauma heal.
At Mary Greeley Medical Center, massage therapy is offered by the Rehab & Wellness department both at the Medical Arts Building in Ames and at Lifetime Fitness Center in Story City.
