At Mary Greeley Medical Center, the Mobile Intensive Care Services (MICS) serves as a training resource center for EMS agencies throughout Story County. The services provided by MICS include:
- facilitating continuing education in accordance with criteria set by the National Association of EMTs and the State of Iowa Bureau of EMS
- working with internal and external EMS instructors
- offering initial training for EMTs
- working with local agencies to provide continuing education credits in pre-hospital emergency care of the sick and injured
