Cardiac Rehabilitation
After surviving a heart attack, you will likely need to make lifestyle changes to improve your health and avoid future heart problems. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Center at Mary Greeley Medical Center is ready to help. We know how hard changing old habits can be. In Cardiac Rehab, you get the support of experts who can help you make new healthy habits. You will also meet other people who are facing the same challenges as you.
Being active can help you stay healthy, control your weight, and get the most out of life. No matter what your age or condition, there is a type of exercise that's right for you.
Comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation
Your cardiac rehab program will include:
- Phase I, which provides inpatient education and referral to outpatient cardiac rehabilitation. Inpatient means during your stay at the hospital, and outpatient means you visit the facility for care and go home afterward.
- Phase II, which provides early outpatient education and monitored exercise.
- Supervised Exercise Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (SET PAD), which is a progressive exercise, diet, and education program.
