Description

Childbirth Education

This childbirth course that is an interactive approach as you prepare for the birth of your baby. This course covers information on the stages of labor and delivery, relaxation and breathing techniques and how they can ease the pain of labor, and the coach's role.

Other topics include medication, epidurals, medical procedures, and your care following birth. Our classes are taught by certified childbirth educators. We ask that you dress comfortable for this class.

As part of our childbirth class experience, attendees will have the opportunity to go on an informative tour of our Birthways Unit. This tour allows expectant parents to familiarize themselves with the birthing environment, facilities, and services available to them during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

The classroom is located across from the cafeteria – attendees are welcome to come early to get food to eat during class.

Suggested donation: $30. Cash or check. Class sizes are limited. Registrants must be delivering at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Check out our virtual hospital tour.
